Port Douglas Residential Smoke Alarms

From 1 January 2017 any existing Port Douglas residential smoke alarms manufactured more than 10 years ago that are being replaced, must be replaced with interconnected photoelectric smoke alarms which comply with Australian Standard (AS) 3786-2014. It’s the law. It’s also recommended that these alarms be either hardwired or powered by a non-removable 10-year battery. By 1 January 2027 all Port Douglas residential smoke alarms must be this new type.

Port Douglas Commercial Smoke Alarms

Port Douglas commercial smoke alarms should be a critical element of any business, mine or agricultural property. They should be designed and installed correctly, to provide appropriate coverage to your property and its products and services. They should be regularly tested and updated as and when needed. Regardless of manufacturer, all smoke alarms have a limited life of 10 years and need to be replaced after that.
